This is "Survival Mantel."   For this unique piece Jerry has designed an underwater lake scene for our customers in East Texas who are building a large log retirement home on a lake.  The carving will feature large mouth bass and other lake life, along with underwater plants, tree limbs, rocks, etc.  A portion of the mantel shelf above the carved face will be cut away to add the dimension of viewing the surface of the water from above.  Frogs, turtles, and plant life will break the surface of the water.  Carved returns will be seen as part of the overall underwater scene.  Hi Doug and Sandy!
